In her own words
I am a Part 1 Architecture graduate with a strong interest in adaptive reuse, contextual design, and architecture that works thoughtfully with existing buildings and environments. My projects are often shaped through narrative, site conditions, materiality, and the social character of a place, with a focus on creating spaces that feel both purposeful and emotionally grounded.
Alongside conceptual design, I have a particular strength in visual communication, design development, and presenting ideas clearly through drawings, diagrams, and atmospheric representation. I enjoy balancing creative exploration with technical understanding and have developed experience across both architectural practice and construction, strengthening my understanding of detailing, coordination, and the relationship between design intent and built form.
Coming from a family background rooted in construction and property has given me an early understanding of the built environment beyond the studio environment, while also developing a longstanding passion for creating, designing, and making from a young age. My academic and professional experiences have strengthened my ambition to contribute meaningfully to the profession, particularly within practices that value careful intervention, sustainability, and well-crafted, context-responsive architecture.
Recently awarded the RIBA East Award for Best Project in Design Studio Modules at my university's End of Year Show Exhibition, I am currently seeking a Part 1 Architectural Assistant role within a collaborative and design-conscious practice where I can continue developing both creatively and technically. I am particularly interested in building long-term relationships within a practice that values strong connections between colleagues, clients, and the wider community.
